How to remove red tones on my salt and pepper gray hair?

after giving my self a perm Lye-based, I used Bantu, to remove brass or yellowish from my gray hair, but the Bantu made it worst, so How do I get my hair to return to it normal silvery gray. I used shimmering lights, every thing for gray hair but it does not work, the only thing work was Silver Expression by Clairol, but has discontinued this particular product
