Quick question about dead space?

ok im at full health, i already put 7 nodes on my line gun, and about 5 on my cutter, 7 sm and 3 med health packs, plenty of ammo, about 589 pulse rounds, 142 plasma energy, 67 line racks, and a full flame thrower tank. would it be smart to spend my 70k creds on nodes? note im on chapter 3 and i just fixed the centrifuge
