Can Self-Tanning Lotion Make Stretch Marks Less Visible?

My sister has these light stretch marks on the side of her belly. She is the color of Gabrielle Union ( maybe darker ) and we were wondering if she could use L'Oreal Sublime Glow for Medium Skin Tone Enhancer to make them the color of her actual skin tone or make them less visible.
