Which betta food is best?

i want to buy a betta fish! ive done my research and my aparment allows pets! YAAYYY! i went to the store to buy my fish tank since i read online that you are supposed to run the tank with the filter for 24 hours before adding fish. and i saw the food selection for bettas. ther was sooo many options i thought the expesive kind was better b ive never heard of the brand before... im new to fish so how could i "know" the brand? but anyway what fish food is the best for my fish! and do the color enhancers really work? or are they just a rip off cuz i would mix the foods half and half if they really work but cant be used an]s a primary food right iany way please help! I ended up getting a 1.5 gallon tetra water winders cube aquarium with filter.
