Salon communication problem! SOS!?

Well I've pretty much had the same hair cutter all of my life (13 years) and everythings been fine so far. But Im going to be rastcally changing my haircut and Not just getting my Usual trim. The guy that cuts my hair only speaks spanish, so what's a way I can make sure he does it right? Also, what are the best ways to find new salons, since I'd rather find someone I can actually understand to trust with my hair! Thanks!
